PTFE sheets can be used to cover the press pad to prevent strike-through of surplus ink, particularly when printing thin material as surplus ink/print can deposit itself on the heat plate or pressing pad.

Using a PTFE sheet allows you to wipe off any print/ink which stops any excess ink being transferred to the next garment or substrate, using PTFE sheets is good housekeeping and makes the process of keeping the heat press clean much easier.
